Job Title: CAD Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer to join our design team at Future Prospects Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and prototyping new product ideas, assisting the design team leader and sales team with bespoke drawings and site-specific schematics, and utilizing CAD modeling for site-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the design team leader and sales team with bespoke drawings and site-specific schematics for projects.
  2. Utilize CAD modeling for site-specific requirements.
  3. Assist with CAD modeling on prototypes of new products or new products.
  4. Be creative with solutions and ideas and contribute actively to meetings and ideas sessions.
  5. Create and design a broad range of technical literature across various mediums.
  6. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations associated with the work.
  7. Organize and maintain the technical library, ensuring all information is easily accessible.
  8. Provide technical support to end-users and maintain expertise in the field.
  9. Manage administration created by own work and maintain the company CRM system.
Requirements:
  1. Computer literacy in 2D & 3D CAD packages such as SolidWorks & AutoCAD.
  2. Literacy in Microsoft suite.
  3. Strong understanding of Adobe Suite programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  4. Product Design Degree/CAD Engineering degree to level 2:1 and above.
  5. Design and/or CAD work experience.
  6. Technical placement experience.
  7. Experience of Revit/BIM is advantageous.
  8. A team player with the ability to work on solo projects.
  9. Hunger for knowledge and staying up-to-date within the industry.
  10. Full UK driving license and a vehicle.
