We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Disability Nurse to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities- Registered with the NMC and experienced in working with people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and challenging behaviour.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays, and outside of regular office hours, with some lone working.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and other professionals.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Equality Act 2010.
- Full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use (reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
As a member of our team, you will receive regular support and supervision from senior members of the team and work with an allocated caseload. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
