We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Support Engineer to become a vital member of our proficient 3rd line support team. This position will primarily focus on overseeing a well-established web and email gateway within a network DMZ.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to broaden your expertise by collaborating with other specialists in the team and assisting in the implementation of system modifications into live operations.
Your responsibilities will include the remote management of a geographically diverse web and email gateway as part of a cohesive team. A significant aspect of your duties will involve troubleshooting issues escalated by our 2nd line engineers. Additionally, you will be tasked with executing service modifications in the production environment.Further responsibilities encompass ensuring continuity between the established 3rd Line Team and the 24/7 support team, creating instructional guides, and coordinating with other dependent parties.
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience as an infrastructure engineer in an operational setting.
- A comprehensive range of technical skills within an enterprise environment, ideally showcasing expertise in certificate management, proxy and email solutions, application support, and server administration.
- Self-driven with the ability to identify process enhancements and best practices, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strong teamwork capabilities, fostering positive working relationships with other resolver teams across the organization.
- Excellent communication skills when engaging with peers, management, other resolver teams, and clients.
Given the nature and urgency of this role, candidates with prior high-level security clearance are particularly encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates will be required to obtain security clearance prior to appointment, which may take a minimum of 10 weeks.
