Electrical Instrumentation Engineer

CV Library is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join our client's Instrumentation Department in the Birmingham area.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly skilled installation, maintenance, and calibration team within a lower tier COMAH facility.
The successful candidate will work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full life-cycle of chemical plant instrumentation projects, from conceptualisation to commissioning, involving various types of instrumentation and control systems.
- Oversee the modification of plant instrumentation systems via a management of change system.
- Lead instrumentation projects within the chemical process or similar regulated industry sectors, such as Pharmaceutical, Petro-Chem, Food, or Oil & Gas.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of instrumentation documents, including Loop Drawings, I/O Lists, P&ID's, Network architecture Diagrams, Bill of Quantities, and Equipment Schedules.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience managing instrumentation projects within the chemical process or similar regulated industry sectors.
A strong understanding of instrumentation documents and control systems is essential for this role.
