Job Title: Semi Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Semi Senior Accountant to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting a varied client portfolio, preparing statutory accounts and financial statements, and assisting with VAT returns.

About the Role:
  • Work closely with an experienced team to support a diverse range of clients.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for a variety of organisational structures.
  • Manage your own workflow and ensure client work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with HMRC on client matters and provide excellent customer service.
  • Promote and strive for customer service excellence, building strong relationships with clients.
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
  • ACCA or ACA studying or ready to begin.
  • Previous experience supporting clients within practice, preferably in a small to medium-sized firm.
  • Experience preparing draft statutory accounts and financial statements.
  • Good working knowledge of accounting software and systems.
  • A team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
