Job Description

Job Title: Senior Nurse or Paramedic - Early Intervention Vehicle Service

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse or Paramedic to join our Early Intervention Vehicle (EIV) Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical assessments and care to patients in their own homes, preventing hospital admissions and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver holistic physical and functional assessments to patients in their own homes
  • Provide urgent equipment and assistance as required
  • Make complex clinical decisions quickly and autonomously
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and agencies to deliver excellent standards of patient care
  • Utilize specialist skills and knowledge to holistically assess needs
  • Work on a flexible basis to cover all roles required within the team

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or Paramedic with advanced clinical skills and experience in the clinical care of adults and older people
  • Significant knowledge and experience in the management of long-term conditions
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and make complex clinical decisions quickly and autonomously
  • Full, valid, UK driving licence and access to a car for business purposes
