Medical Director

MCG Healthcare is proud to be working with a large healthcare provider seeking a Lead GP to join their team for 6 sessions per week. The surgery is based in the South of Durham region.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who is keen to support and contribute to the practice's program of continuous improvements, clinical meetings, and work with the team to ensure the surgery maintains its high QOF results.
The practice offers a flexible approach to division of roles and responsibilities within their small, friendly, and experienced practice team. They also host various trainees, including Pre-Reg Pharmacists, Nursing Associates, and are keen to recruit a GP who is willing to mentor some of their current trainees or students in the practice.
The successful candidate will be joining a progressive and dynamic practice that embraces new technology and ways of working, ranging from daily telephone triage to video and e-consultations.
The practice is CQC rated 'GOOD' and offers a GMS contract. Tier 2 sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced GP to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of the practice.
