Medical Director

MCG Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Practitioner to join their team as a Lead GP. The successful candidate will be based in a surgery located south of Durham and will work 6 sessions per week. The practice is known for its progressive and dynamic approach, embracing new technology and innovative ways of working. The clinical teams are well-supported by an excellent administration and management team, and the practice hosts various trainees, including Pre-Reg Pharmacists and Nursing Associates. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is keen to support and contribute to the practice's program of continuous improvements, clinical meetings, and quality of care initiatives. Key highlights of the role include a starting salary of £11,500 per session, a flexible approach to division of roles and responsibilities, and the opportunity to mentor trainees or students in the practice. The practice is a GMS contract holder and is CQC rated 'GOOD'. The successful candidate will be required to work Wednesday to Friday, with a typical 28 appointments per day. Tier 2 sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
