Job Title: Teaching Assistant/Lunchtime Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant/Lunchtime Supervisor at Durham Lane Primary School.

About the Role

This is a temporary position until 31st March, working on a part-time basis, 16.25 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting children with additional needs and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children with additional needs in a primary school setting
  • Assist with lunchtime supervision and maintain a safe and orderly environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Use initiative and think on your feet to respond to the needs of children and staff
  • Be motivated and passionate about making a difference in the lives of children
Requirements

We are looking for someone with some knowledge and experience of supporting children with additional needs, a flexible approach, and the ability to work as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be motivated, passionate, and reflective about their work.
