Electronics Support Engineer

Andretti Cadillac is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Support Engineer to join our team at the Silverstone Facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the electronic systems and associated hardware to support car operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare electronic systems for events.
  • Support the operation of electronic systems at events.
  • Ensure data accuracy and reliability with correct calibration and operation of electronic systems.
  • Ensure all trackside operations and procedures are followed correctly.
  • Resolve electronic system faults.
  • Continuously improve operational processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering) or similar.
  • Previous experience of providing track support within motorsport.
  • Experience of the configuration and management of motorsport data logging systems, preferably F1 SECU and associated tools.
  • Experience with automotive electronic systems, CAN and sensing technologies.
  • Understanding of electrical schematics and wire harnessing technology.
  • Familiarity of working with high voltage electrical systems on hybrid or electric vehicles.
  • Ability to plan and manage own workloads.
  • Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email.
  • Self-motivated, innovative and capable of working generally unsupervised to challenging deadlines.
  • Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Positive contribution to an open and inclusive culture.
