Electronics Support Engineer

Join the Andretti Cadillac team as an Electronics Support Engineer and contribute to the success of our racing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the electronic systems and associated hardware to support car operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare electronic systems for events.
  • Support the operation of electronic systems at events.
  • Ensure data accuracy and reliability with correct calibration and operation of electronic systems.
  • Follow trackside operations and procedures correctly.
  • Resolve electronic system faults.
  • Help improve operational processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering) or similar.
  • Previous experience of providing track support within motorsport.
  • Experience of the configuration and management of motorsport data logging systems, preferably F1 SECU and associated tools.
  • Experience with automotive electronic systems, CAN and sensing technologies.
  • Understanding of electrical schematics and wire harnessing technology.
  • Familiarity of working with high voltage electrical systems on hybrid or electric vehicles.
  • Ability to plan and manage own workloads.
  • Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email.
  • Self-motivated, innovative and capable of working generally unsupervised to challenging deadlines.
  • Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Positive contribution to an open and inclusive culture.
