Mencap is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Carlton-in-Lindrick, Worksop. As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you'll play a vital role in their life. We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for supporting others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with daily activities, such as personal care and household tasks
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals with learning disabilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality care and support

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities
