**Location of the Offices**
We have offices in various locations, including Spain, Germany, the UK, and Italy. The role will require a hybrid working model.
**Overview of the Role**
You will serve as the regional lead for Dr. Reddy's Ethics/Compliance program for all countries that come under Europe Generics business of Dr. Reddy's. You will be responsible for creating/adapting policies and procedures, providing training and guidance to the executive team, managers, and employees, monitoring the implementation of internal policies and applicable legislations for Dr. Reddy's Europe Region, and ensuring the business remains compliant and safe at all times.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop a regional compliance plan for Dr. Reddy's Europe Region, with an action tracker.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and monitor advancements in best practice.
- Stay up-to-date with existing and upcoming regulations affecting the business and be proactive in implementing processes for compliance with the same.
- Drive the completion of compliance risk assessments based on applicable regulatory requirements in each country within the Region.
- Assess with the Regional General Counsel of Europe and Chief Compliance Officer whether European business units/countries have controls in place to address identified key compliance risks.
- Serve as the primary liaison with key internal stakeholders across the Europe Region, particularly in Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Internal Audit, Human Resources, on all ethics and compliance matters.
- Investigate and report on allegations relating to potential breaches of Dr. Reddy's Code of Business Ethics (COBE) for the Europe Region.
- Prepare gap assessments and corrective action plans.
- Manage and oversee the reporting of the Statutory Compliance administration across the Region.
- Develop and deliver compliance briefings and training modules on new and existing regulations to the business as required.
- Provide training to all Europe-wide businesses on Dr. Reddy's COBE, compliance policies, and procedures.
- Create, implement, and oversee regular testing and monitoring programs based on the results of the risk assessments.
- Implement a compliance third-party oversight program for Dr. Reddy's business units in Europe.
- Be a champion for Dr. Reddy's Ethics (COBE) program in the Region.
- Provide in-region expertise and advice on compliance matters and advise Senior Leadership for Europe on compliance program needs across the Europe Region.
- Report on a regular basis to keep Legal & Compliance management at corporate level of compliance program implemented in the Region.
- Act as Convener of the Europe Regional Compliance Council (RCC), conduct regular compliance meetings with stakeholders, and be accountable to close the observations/action items coming out of the RCC or any other compliance meetings.
- Ensure participation in relevant meetings and forums organized by Dr. Reddy's Corporate Compliance function.
- Lead or participate in any global compliance project to develop or improve Dr. Reddy's compliance and ethics program.
- Represent compliance in any cross-functional projects at Europe or at a global level.
**Requirements**
- Law/Finance/Management graduate with 12+ years of practical experience in compliance program implementation working in a global company.
- Preferably from the Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices/Healthcare industry with experience of handling engagements with healthcare professionals.
- Proven project management skills and ability to lead a team.
- Proven experience of communicating effectively with decision-making individuals within an organization.
- Pragmatic, self-starter with strong analytical skills to identify core issues.
- Strong problem-solving ability to come up with practical solutions that comply with law and work for the business.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to tailor your message to your target audience and communicate complex issues clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to build solid relationships and to influence across a diverse group of business people with a wide array of professional backgrounds, including executive management.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully coordinate and complete multiple tasks within and across departments to meet established and changing deadlines.
- Unquestionable ethics and excellent judgment, ability to maintain confidentiality, and act in a critical position of trust within the company.
- The ability and desire to work independently with limited direct supervision.
- Business compliance advisory, training, and awareness sessions conducting, risk management, and mitigation.
- Audit and investigations skills.
- Fluency in English language is mandatory; candidates with additional language proficiency (German, French, Italian, Spanish) will be given preference.
