Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team at Jagex Limited. As a Tax Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with tax compliance and advisory projects within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the timely and accurate preparation, filing, and payment of all corporate tax returns, including UK as well as US federal, state, and international taxes.
  • Assist with indirect tax matters such as VAT returns, and Global Sales Tax, including monitoring risks and exposures.
  • Assist with the statutory audit, including preparation of accurate tax provision calculations, tax-related financial disclosures, and compliance with tax reporting requirements under IFRS.
  • Work with the Tax Manager and external advisors to ensure the company holds transfer pricing policies and documentation, in compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist with communications with tax authorities including tax audits, inquiries, and disputes. This may involve preparing and reviewing responses to tax notices and coordinate with external tax advisors and legal counsel as necessary.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to increase the profile and understanding of tax compliance requirements and gather the necessary information for tax reporting.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Previous experience in a tax role in a corporate organisation would be beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex tax regulations to non-financial stakeholders.
