About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our dynamic finance team at Sheridan Maine South. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in driving business performance and supporting our leadership team in making informed financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Performance Management: Track and analyze weekly operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable insights to drive cost-saving initiatives.
  • Capital Investment Analysis: Prepare and evaluate capital investment proposals, conduct post-implementation reviews, and assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Profitability Analysis: Analyze product and customer profitability to support pricing and margin decisions, and explain monthly production variances and their impact on financial performance.
  • Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with operational leaders to provide clear financial insights, helping them understand the financial impact of projects, new processes, and materials.
  • Process Improvement: Coordinate the budgeting process, facilitate performance reviews, and work with the supply chain team to promote continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a finance business partner role or similar.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous FMCG or manufacturing experience would be beneficial.
