About the Role
Sheridan Maine South is seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our dynamic finance team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business performance and supporting our leadership team in making informed financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Performance Management: Track weekly operational performance metrics, ensure progress on cost-saving initiatives, and provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Capital Investment Analysis: Prepare and evaluate capital investment proposals, conduct post-implementation reviews, and assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Financial Insights and Analysis: Analyze product and customer profitability to support pricing and margin decisions, and explain monthly production variances and their impact on financial performance.
- Financial Reporting and Planning: Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and collaborate with operational leaders to provide clear financial insights.
- Process Improvement: Coordinate the budgeting process, facilitate performance reviews, and work with the supply chain team to promote continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience in a finance business partner role or similar.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
- Industry Experience: Previous FMCG or manufacturing experience would be beneficial.
