Finance Business Partner Opportunity

Sheridan Maine South is seeking a talented Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic finance team in West Sussex. This is an exceptional opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track and Analyze Performance Metrics: Monitor weekly operational performance metrics and ensure progress on cost-saving initiatives, providing regular reports and insights.
  • Capital Investment and Budgeting: Prepare and evaluate capital investment proposals, conduct post-implementation reviews, and assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Product and Customer Profitability: Analyze product and customer profitability to support pricing and margin decisions and explain monthly production variances and their impact on financial performance.
  • Monthly Management Accounts: Support the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Financial Insights and Collaboration: Collaborate with operational leaders to provide clear financial insights, helping them understand the financial impact of projects, new processes, and materials.
  • Continuous Improvement: Coordinate the budgeting process, facilitate performance reviews, and work with the supply chain team to promote continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a finance business partner role or similar.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
  • Industry Experience: Previous FMCG or manufacturing experience would be beneficial.
