The Role

  • To perform planned and breakdown maintenance on a range of machinery associated with production, ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance and breakdown work on production equipment, utilizing technical expertise to diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
  • To work collaboratively with the production team to identify and address equipment issues, ensuring seamless production operations.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Work within a permanent day shift system, ensuring a consistent and reliable maintenance schedule.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must be time-served with a strong background in electrical maintenance and a bias towards multi-skilled work.
  • Logical problem solver with excellent fault-finding abilities, able to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is essential, with a deep understanding of production processes and equipment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge to optimize maintenance operations.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
