About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to take on a Team Lead role within our Adult Learning Disabilities Team in Salford. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership and support to our staff and patients, working to improve health, well-being, and life skills for individuals with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff and students
  • Manage a significant clinical workload, including assessment and treatment of patients
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment programs
  • Monitor and improve standards of support, contributing to service planning and development
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality support and positive outcomes
Requirements
  • Registered Occupational Therapist with a Dip COT or BSc in Occupational Therapy
  • Postgraduate training and experience in a community setting
  • Leadership and supervision skills, with experience of working in Adult Learning Disabilities settings
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with ability to work under pressure
