The Role: Residential Childcare Support Professional

As a Residential Childcare Support Professional, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing environment for our young residents. You will provide emotional and social support, helping them develop meaningful relationships and engage with their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to promote positive development and well-being for the children in our care.
  • Provide emotional and social support, encouraging healthy relationships and community involvement.
  • Foster self-esteem and ensure each child feels respected and valued.
  • Support young people in making positive life choices and achieving independence.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and care plans.
  • Work closely with managers, social workers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assist with daily living needs, including meal preparation and household tasks.
