About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurological Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team as a Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, providing specialist assessment, treatment, and clinical management of clients with neurological conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide highly specialist assessment, treatment, and clinical management of clients with neurological conditions, determining clinical diagnosis, functional deficits, and developing the Physiotherapy treatment program required.
  • Develop and implement efficient and effective Physiotherapy working practices to assist in producing a fully effective multidisciplinary team approach.
  • Work with the Allied Health Professional Lead to develop the service to best meet changing health and social care agendas.
  • Be responsible for the clinical development and operational management of a team of Physiotherapists within the Tower Hamlets Community Neuro Team (THCNT).
  • Work with multidisciplinary colleagues to deputise to the Allied Health Professional Lead as required.
  • Work in collaboration with the acute Neurological Physiotherapy service and Community Health Services to provide integrated care for clients with a Neurological diagnosis within Tower Hamlets.

Person Specification
  • Clinical experience in the field of Neurology having completed band 6 rotations or equivalent.
  • Clinical experience in the NHS or similar health service across a range of acute/rehab settings.
  • Working in a Multidisciplinary or Physiotherapy Team.
  • Contributing to professional development and clinical education of more junior staff, students, and assistants.
  • Involvement in audit, research, and understanding of quality issues.
