The Children's Residential Home Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our residential home, ensuring the highest level of care and support for our young residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the team, ensuring effective recruitment, training, and development of staff members.
- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
- Care Planning and Risk Assessment: Develop and implement high-quality care plans and risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.
- Team Supervision and Development: Provide guidance, support, and supervision to staff members, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with Ofsted and Local Authority requirements, maintaining high standards of quality and care.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Leadership Experience: Significant experience in a similar setting, with a proven track record of managing Ofsted inspections.
- Qualifications: Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or be committed to achieving the qualification (financial support will be provided).
- Driving License: Ideally hold a full UK driving license.
- Personal Qualities: Passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young people, resilient, and strong communicator with a proactive approach to continual improvements.
Working Arrangements:
- Full-time Position: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.
- Location: In-person work at our residential home.
