About the Role:

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Physician to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will provide specialized respiratory care for acute admissions, ensuring top-quality service and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist advice to respiratory patients
  • Facilitate early discharge when suitable
  • Ensure specialist input for respiratory patients in remote wards
  • Conduct daily ward rounds
  • Teach and train junior staff and students
  • Participate in clinical governance and audit
  • Support sub-specialist respiratory services

Requirements:

  • Valid GMC registration
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 3 months NHS experience
  • MRCP and Specialist Register

About the Trust: Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust serves a population of around 580,000, offering a wide range of acute and specialist healthcare services.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Pay Rate: £105.00-£125.00 per hour
