Painter Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Painter to contribute to our team at StandardAero at Almondbank, Perth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting surface finishing activities of aircraft components during their repair cycle at Vector Aerospace Component Services Almondbank.
  • Key duties include paint stripping, media blasting, masking, painting, and general labouring in accordance with current authorised procedures.
  • The ideal candidate will contribute to team delivery of agreed targets and goals.
  • They will also be required to comply with Tool Control Procedures and attend team meetings.
  • Additional responsibilities include carrying out ABC reviews, supporting a climate of Continuous Improvement, and undertaking work to their highest level of competence.
  • The successful candidate will also be required to ensure that debris generated in their work area is removed/cleaned in a timely fashion.
  • They will be expected to adhere to our Quality Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, and all associated Business Manuals.
