Job Summary:

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Support Worker to join our Speech and Language Therapy team. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing advice and support to families and direct intervention to children and young people who access our service.

About the Role:

This is a fixed-term post for 12 months, covering a maternity leave vacancy. The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive team of 14 registered and non-registered practitioners based in our Aranthrue Centre in Renfrewshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and support to families and direct intervention to children and young people who access our service.
  • Work in clinics, schools, and other community settings to deliver our service.
  • Develop Inclusive Communication Environments in Renfrewshire for all children and young people.
  • Access supervision, capacity management, and team lead support as required.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have significant experience of working as a Speech and Language Therapy Clinical Support Worker. They will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
