Job Title: Project Manager - Flood Risk and Environmental Improvement

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at JBA Consulting. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects that aim to reduce flood risk and improve the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project budgets, programmes, and risks
  • Deliver projects to achieve the Environment Agency's current six-year FCERM programme
  • Manage sub-contractors and NEC-form contracts
  • Deliver accurate cost forecasts and progress reporting
  • Work with others on project delivery and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage project Health and Safety requirements

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification, degree, or equivalent, with an interest in environmental management
  • Post-graduate qualifications in project management (MSc., Prince2 or equivalent) desirable
  • Chartered status with the Association of Project Management (APM) or willingness to work towards it
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office applications and project programming software (e.g. MS Project)
  • NEC contract management and financial management experience
  • Team building and resource management skills
  • Report writing and quality assurance experience
  • Problem solving skills

Desirable:

  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) regulations
  • Experience working in a BIM Level 2 environment
