About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious GP to join our dynamic and dedicated team at Orchard End Surgery. As a GP Partner, you will play a key role in influencing primary care in Cranbrook and contributing to the development of new GP premises in the centre of the town.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work 4-6 sessions per week, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our surgery.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement new services and initiatives, driving excellence in primary care.
  • Participate in education and training programs, ensuring you stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of our surgery's strategy and vision, shaping the future of primary care in Cranbrook.

Person Specification

  • Essential
    • Medical degree and membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners or equivalent in training.
    • Registered GP with the GMC and included on the GP Register.
    • Included on the GP Performers List and possesses the right to work in the UK.
    • Current General Practice experience with up-to-date GMC appraisal/revalidation.
    • Certificate of satisfactory immune status re: Hepatitis B and other relevant viruses.
    • Demonstrable ability to relate well to challenging patients, carers, relatives, and staff.
    • Full driving licence with use of own car.
  • Desirable
    • First-hand experience of developing services in a constantly changing environment.
    • Knowledge of adherence to the CQC Fundamental Standards.
    • Understanding of contracting, finance, service delivery, and activity monitoring.
