About the Job

We are seeking an ambitious GP to join our dynamic and dedicated team at Orchard End Surgery in Cranbrook, a thriving Wealden town. As a GP Partner, you will play a key role in influencing primary care in our community.

Job Responsibilities

As a GP Partner, you will work 4-6 sessions per week, providing excellent care for our patients. You will be part of a successful and thriving GP surgery with a list size of 4,200. We are committed to education and training, and our GP Partner is also the Clinical Director for the Weald PCN.

Person Specification

We are looking for a GP with:

  • Medical degree
  • Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners or equivalent in training if approved by the Royal College of General Practitioners
  • Registered GP with the GMC (included on the GP Register)
  • Included on GP Performers List
  • Possesses the right to work in the UK
  • Current General Practice experience with up-to-date GMC appraisal/revalidation
  • Certificate of satisfactory immune status re: Hepatitis B and other relevant viruses
  • Demonstrable ability to relate well to challenging patients, carers, relatives, and staff
  • Full driving licence, with use of own car

Desirable Qualifications

We would also like to see:

  • First-hand experience of developing services in a constantly changing environment
  • Knowledge of adherence to the CQC Fundamental Standards
  • Understanding of contracting, finance, service delivery, and activity monitoring
