Cloud Services Lead

Reed Technology is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Services Lead to join their team in Cornwall.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, deployment, and maintenance of Azure-based services, leveraging DevOps practices and Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Azure DevOps best practices to improve software delivery efficiency.
  • Design and build CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
  • Provide subject matter expert guidance on Microsoft Cloud technologies, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Create and review comprehensive technical documentation, including high-level designs and architectural statements.
  • Lead and comply with security, resilience, backup, and monitoring standards and policies.
  • Represent Cloud Services in Change Advisory Board meetings and daily/weekly Service Review meetings.
  • Identify and undertake Service Improvements.

We are looking for:

  • Experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining Azure-based services, preferably via Azure DevOps.
  • Proven ability to write technical documentation.
  • Experience in supporting, maintaining, and developing Windows and Linux OS environments and applications within Azure.
  • Experience in maintaining and developing cloud-based solutions adhering to OWASP developer best practices.
  • Experience with languages and middleware such as Asp.Net, Python, PHP, and Apache.
  • Experience in managing SQL databases, including Azure DB, Managed SQL, MS SQL, and MySQL.
