Lead Cloud Engineer Opportunity

Reed Technology is seeking a highly skilled Lead Cloud Engineer to join their team in Cornwall. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for leading the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based services using Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Azure DevOps best practices to improve software delivery efficiency.
  • Design and build CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
  • Provide subject matter expert guidance on Microsoft Cloud technologies and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Create and review comprehensive technical documentation, including high-level designs and architectural statements.
  • Lead and comply with security, resilience, backup, and monitoring standards and policies.
  • Represent Cloud Services in Change Advisory Board meetings and daily/weekly Service Review meetings.
  • Identify and undertake Service Improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining Azure-based services, preferably via Azure DevOps.
  • Proven ability to write technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting, maintaining, and developing Windows & Linux OS environments & applications within Azure.
  • Experience maintaining and developing cloud-based solutions adhering to OWASP developer best practices.
  • Experience with languages/middleware (Asp.Net, Python, PHP, Apache) and managing SQL (Azure DB, Managed SQL, MS SQL & MySQL) databases.
