High Intensity Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a High Intensity Trainee within our NHS Talking Therapies service. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in providing high-intensity interventions to clients with complex mental health needs.
About the RoleThis is a 12-month training course that will equip you with the skills and knowledge to provide cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to clients with a range of complex problems. You will work within our NHS Talking Therapies service, providing high-intensity interventions while undertaking a programme of training. The training will take place over two days a week, with the remaining three days spent working in the service, applying your new skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-intensity interventions to clients with complex mental health needs
- Develop and maintain a caseload of clients, working with them to set and achieve goals
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive service
- Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to develop your skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a recorded or registered qualification in one of the following at graduate level: nursing, social work, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, or within a psychological therapy. You will also need to have evidence of meeting the Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude (KSA) requirements of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). Additionally, you will need to have a full driving licence and be able to travel to locations throughout the organisation.
