Engineering Supervisor Opportunity

Location: Northwich, Cheshire
A leading manufacturer in the Cheshire area is seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join their team. This role offers a great opportunity to manage and oversee a team of engineers across maintenance and projects.
As an Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of engineers, including scheduling proactive maintenance, managing reactive breakdowns, and developing and progressing engineers on site.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Lead the response to reactive breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with engineers to create development and progression plans.
- Facilitate daily engineering meetings to discuss performance and ongoing work.
- Work across electrical and mechanical faults and maintenance as required.
- Contribute to engineering projects, such as commissioning, installations, and relocations.
- Identify and implement improvements in processes and machine output.
- Ensure adherence to site health and safety rules and legislation.
- Time-served or recognised apprenticeship in a relevant engineering subject.
- Experience in a similar senior-level role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ideally confident in a manufacturing setting.
