We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager to join our team at Northumberland National Park Authority. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping others and the environment, and a strong understanding of agricultural and forestry land management policy and grant schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support farmers and landowners in accessing funding streams and building climate change and Brexit resilience
- Manage and allocate programme funding to achieve environmental improvement and habitat connectivity
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders to deliver effective projects
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of current Natural Environment policy and issues facing rural upland communities
- Ability to influence partners and land managers to achieve effective delivery and good working relationships
- Confident use of information technology systems, including Microsoft Office 365 and GIS applications
