Job Title: Applications and Technical Support Engineer

Clear IT Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Applications and Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Heathrow.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual to provide technical support and applications engineering services to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing product and application support, testing and creating reports, launching new products, and developing training materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical support to customers both on-site and off-site
  2. Support Sales Engineers with product and application knowledge
  3. Test and create reports for technical applications
  4. Launch new products to sales teams through presentations, demonstrations, and testing
  5. Develop and deliver training on existing products
  6. Manage demonstration equipment for Sales Engineers
  7. Develop and disseminate technical guides and tips to increase sales force knowledge and skill level
  8. Assist salespeople with on-site presentations to customers
  9. Identify areas for improvement in department operations and initiate projects to achieve such improvements
  10. Understand and observe company policies and procedures
  11. Handle IT-related issues and other duties as assigned
  12. Develop product release materials such as product literature, technical and sales manuals, and training manuals
  13. Attend and support marketing exhibitions
Requirements:
  1. Degree educated in an engineering or technical discipline
  2. Placement/year in industry preferred
  3. Eligible to work in the UK
  4. Full driving license valid in the UK
