About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our team at Kinaxia Logistics in Macclesfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Workshop Manager in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
  • Carry out defect repairs, fault diagnosis, and maintenance requirements to ensure all vehicles and equipment are in a safe working condition
  • Prepare and present vehicles for annual MOT inspection
  • Conduct periodic safety inspections on all vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with DVSA standards
Requirements
  • Mechanical qualification essential
  • Transport industry experience desirable
  • Continued up-to-date knowledge of vehicle maintenance rules and regulations
  • Ability to implement technological knowledge into practice
