Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Briarwood, our assessment unit for older adults with dementia or dementia-like symptoms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and care for individuals with complex mental health needs, including those with dementia, in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals, their families, and carers.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic individual who possesses:

  • NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse or RNLD with relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for delivering person-centered care to individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and nights.
