Location: Hybrid - Salary: Competitive + Up to 20% Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We are looking for an experienced VAT Manager to manage all VAT compliance and advisory matters across our Real Estate group. This role will work closely with our Head of Tax to ensure robust compliance throughout our systems.

You will oversee the end-to-end VAT return process, work on VAT optimisation, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Additionally, you'll provide VAT expertise on complex transactions and projects, particularly within the Real Estate sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage VAT compliance for approximately 30 VAT registrations, including VAT groups
  • Oversee VAT journals, reconciliations, and support the annual audit process
  • Address VAT complexities in land and property transactions
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies across VAT operations
  • Support the Tax Team with risk management, governance, and HMRC inquiries
Requirements:
  • CTA or equivalent qualification
  • Extensive VAT experience, ideally within the Real Estate sector
  • Strong technical knowledge of VAT and experience with ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
