Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our client's team in Northampton. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services meets the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Operations Director: You will be responsible for managing the quality department and ensuring that all quality-related activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Cost Management: You will be responsible for managing the costs of the quality department and ensuring that all expenses are justified and within budget.
  • KPI Management: You will be responsible for setting and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) for the quality department, including quality metrics and customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Management Systems: You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and BRC standards.
  • Customer Liaison: You will be responsible for liaising with customers to understand their quality requirements and ensuring that our products and services meet their expectations.
  • Supplier Audits: You will be responsible for conducting supplier audits to ensure that our suppliers meet our quality standards.
  • Quality Meetings: You will be responsible for conducting regular quality meetings with the quality team to discuss quality-related issues and ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Investigation and Root Cause Analysis: You will be responsible for investigating and analyzing quality-related issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a quality-related role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Education: You will have a degree in a relevant field, such as quality management or a related discipline.
  • Skills: You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
