In this role, reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring adherence to industry standards and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

You will work closely with internal teams, clients, regulatory bodies, certification organizations, and suppliers to maintain quality benchmarks and improve operational effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with automotive regulatory standards and quality management systems.
  • Lead and conduct internal audits, managing Corrective Action Reports (CARs) to resolution.
  • Perform supplier evaluations and performance assessments, ensuring compliance with the Supplier Requirements Manual.
  • Assist in the implementation and enhancement of quality management software.
  • Provide training on quality-related subjects and promote awareness throughout the organization.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to optimize business processes and performance.
  • Support audits from regulatory bodies, certification organizations, and clients, preparing for and participating in these evaluations.
  • Contribute to management reviews and assist in the development of new systems and training programs as necessary.


Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Quality Management Systems within the automotive sector.
  • Strong understanding of automotive quality standards and requirements, with formal qualifications in ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949.
  • Proficiency in quality tools, methodologies, and control processes.
  • Familiarity with automotive regulatory standards.
  • Ability to analyze data effectively and drive root cause analysis using structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Experience with quality management software is advantageous.
