Garment Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Garment Technologist to join our team at Provallar Executive Search. As a key member of our technical department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive workbooks detailing construction methods, fit comments, and graded specifications for various product styles.
• Prepare garments for fit sessions, updating workbooks and ensuring all construction details and components are accurate.
• Ensure all products meet company standards for fit and quality, collaborating with designers to achieve the perfect balance between design vision and practical execution.
• Communicate clearly with suppliers, sending detailed fit amendments and specification changes, complete with images and annotations for clarity.
• Provide expert guidance on construction techniques and methods that enhance both the quality and cost-effectiveness of products.
• Monitor the entire production process, addressing any issues that arise to ensure timelines and quality standards are maintained.
• Conduct shipment sample approvals and oversee product testing to guarantee compliance with AQL standards.
• Support factories in gaining necessary certifications, staying updated on transparency legislation and sustainability initiatives.
• Contribute to streamlining and optimizing technical processes, from reducing the number of fit samples for greater sustainability to setting up new quality manuals and systems.
• Work closely with various departments to align on business objectives and contribute to the company's strategy.

• Minimum 7 years' experience within a Technical role.
• 5 years' of Jersey product experience.

• Excellent market rate salary, depending on experience.
• Annual Bonus.
• 25 days holidays plus 8 Bank holidays.
