GREEN FOLK LIMITED is a prominent player in the precision manufacturing sector, located in Redditch. We are currently in search of a skilled Team Leader/Supervisor with a solid background in manufacturing, particularly in achieving Production Goals, Quality Assurance, Safety Standards, and Financial Management.
Role OverviewThis position presents a challenging yet fulfilling opportunity, as you will play a vital role in ensuring that production objectives are met, thereby guaranteeing timely delivery to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and inspire a team to achieve results within a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in assembly or machinery.
- Utilize Quality Management Systems effectively.
- Demonstrate strong people management capabilities, fostering motivation, communication, and influence among peers and team members.
- Possess basic IT skills, including familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.
- Exhibit comprehensive EHS knowledge, capable of conducting Risk Assessments and developing Safe Working Practices in accordance with Human Performance principles (NEBOSH or IOSH certification is advantageous).
Engage in daily SQCD meetings to assess and report on employee performance metrics from the previous day and week, including:
- Actual vs. planned outputs
- Employee utilization percentage
- Employee efficiency percentage
- Ensure all operators adhere to established manufacturing standards, including Work Instructions and relevant Quality Procedures, while understanding and striving towards performance and quality targets.
- Follow documented policies and procedures as outlined by the Company's Quality and Business Management System (QMS & BMS).
- Monitor stock levels of raw materials and production consumables to prevent shortages and maintain agreed inventory levels.
- Oversee the completion of departmental stock checks on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Manage, coach, mentor, and develop team members to foster a high-performance work culture.
