Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Solutions Consultant to become a vital part of our team. The successful candidate will possess significant expertise in IT consultancy, with a strong emphasis on Shibboleth Identity & Service Provider platforms, as well as familiarity with FreeRADIUS or Microsoft NPS being advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret complex client needs into actionable technical solutions.
  • Serve as a primary resource in technical development and client support.
  • Oversee system administration across both Linux and Windows environments, including applications such as Apache HTTPD.
  • Manage virtual infrastructures in cloud environments like Azure and AWS, as well as on-premises systems including Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Utilize version control systems such as Git, GitLab, and GitHub.
  • Handle foundational encryption tasks, including key and certificate management.
  • Apply knowledge of internet protocols and standards.
  • Employ XML or other markup/programming languages as necessary.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Proven experience in leading technical development and support initiatives.
  • System administration expertise on both Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Experience managing virtual machines in both cloud and on-premises settings.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and basic encryption principles.
  • Knowledge of internet standards and programming languages.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in computing, information science, or equivalent professional experience.
