Settlements Analyst - Renewables

We're seeking a highly skilled Settlements Analyst to join our Generation Services team at E.ON UK PLC. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for the timely and accurate production and distribution of monthly power statements and invoices to external Generation Services customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue electricity monthly statements and invoices to sites with new and existing products.
  • Analyse product structures and develop procedures to calculate statement and invoice values.
  • Assess risk of settlement processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Understand and interpret complex electricity contracts and products.
  • Manage the processing and reporting of Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs), Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs), and Guarantees of Origin (GoOs).
  • Develop strong working relationships with customers and resolve queries arising from data analysis and contract interpretation.
  • Support and liaise with other parts of the npower team to resolve issues and agree SLAs.
  • Download and validate metered data input into the settlements process and resolve metered data issues and disputes.
  • Work to reduce the aged debt position managed by Generation Services.

Requirements:

  • Good commercial awareness, strong communication and influencing skills across all levels.
  • Demonstrable experience in a commercial/analytical role.
  • The ability to identify and resolve complex numeric problems.
  • Good modelling skills, preferably in MS Excel/Access and VBA.
  • The ability to develop new processes for the calculation of settlement and invoicing of new Generation Services products.
