Role Overview:
As a vital member of our skilled engineering team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless operation of our production processes. You will play a key role in minimizing downtime through effective troubleshooting and maintenance of machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in a variety of engineering tasks aimed at preventing equipment failures.
- Work on diverse machinery, including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Conduct both planned and reactive maintenance activities to uphold operational efficiency.

Work Schedule:
With a commitment of 39 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off rotation, you will enjoy a balanced work-life schedule. Opportunities for overtime are available, allowing you to enhance your earning potential.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship as a Mechanical Engineer, achieving NVQ Level 3.
  • Experience in mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with fabrication and welding processes is a plus.
  • Team-oriented with a keen eye for detail.
  • Understanding of current environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in mechanical fault diagnosis and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
