Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our brand development and key marketing activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and publication of marketing materials to support our product offer and build our brand proposition.
Key Responsibilities- Brand Positioning: Lead the client brand position and communication strategy, working across functions and with the support of the Leadership team to acquire new customers, increase share of wallet with existing customers, and optimize key strategic segments.
- Marketing Plan Development: Develop and deliver the company marketing plan with activities through direct mail, email, PR, brochures, POS, social media, and website, ensuring the marketing plan is aligned to business goals. Develop industry positioning through engagement with trade bodies and external organizations and partners, including suppliers.
- Third-Party Management: Manage third-party providers and ensure agreements and cost management tools are in place. Ensure service levels from third parties are excellent and value.
- Marketing Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on marketing performance. Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and actionable insights.
- Marketing Campaign Management: Manage marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.). Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet specified performance metrics.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate the marketing team. Supervise, mentor, and provide direction to the marketing team. Foster a collaborative environment to enhance team productivity and creativity.
- Customer Plan Development: Partner with the Sales team to deliver the customer plan, developing bespoke approaches to the key national customer base.
- Website Development: Lead, develop, and maintain the website, ensuring it has an ongoing development plan to deliver the customer proposition through product offer, service support, advice, and innovation.
- Education: Educated to A Level or ideally degree level with a relevant degree or professional qualifications.
- Experience: 5 years' experience as a Marketing Manager.
- Skills: Inline marketing development, experience of managing budgets, and a proven track record of supporting growth within a business.
