Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

Are you a seasoned manager looking for a new challenge in the children's residential care sector? We have an exciting opportunity for a Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at Vetro Recruitment.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Registered Manager to lead our new 1-bedded children's home in Huddersfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to children with EBD and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with our Recruitment and Induction team to help open a new 1-bedded children's home
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a new staff team to provide therapeutic support to children
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure the service is effective in providing therapeutic support to children with EBD and challenging behaviors
  • Manage referrals and safeguarding concerns
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management, or working towards
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People
  • Deputy or Registered Manager experience
  • Driving license
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £40,000 when managing 1 home, rising to £60,000 when dual-registered
  • A full-time, permanent contract with Monday to Friday working hours, plus on-call duties
