Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

Job Summary:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a brand new, 1-bedded children's home and ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapeutic support to children with EBD and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our Recruitment and Induction team to help open a new 1-bedded children's home
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a new staff team to provide exceptional care and support to children
  • Manage day-to-day operations within the children's home, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to ensure the service meets its objectives and provides a safe and supportive environment for children
  • Manage referrals and safeguarding concerns, ensuring the well-being and safety of children at all times

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or working towards
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People
  • Deputy or Registered Manager experience in a children's residential care setting
  • Driving license

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £40,000 when managing 1 home, rising to £60,000 when dual-registered
  • A full-time, permanent contract with Monday to Friday working hours and on-call duties
