Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a rotational Band 6 position at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for allocated patient caseloads in various clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for allocated patient caseloads in relevant clinical settings.
  • Support and clinically supervise junior staff, including rotational band 5 occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and OT students on clinical placements.
  • Participate in service developments, audits, and service reviews, and work collaboratively with other health and social care professionals to facilitate timely and safe discharges/preventing hospital admissions.
  • Deputise for Team Leader in their absence.
  • Take an active part in continuous professional development and performance development reviews.
  • Participate in a seven-day working rota.
