Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our busy product development team at Professional Technical Ltd. As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new electronic product ideas and bringing them to fruition from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the initiation of new product ranges and product refreshes.
  • Develop detailed product specifications, hardware designs, prototypes, and embedded software.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure accurate briefings and timely delivery.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new suppliers for specific projects.
  • Conduct product feasibility studies and provide calculations for capital projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience with manufacturing techniques and knowledge of design for manufacturing concepts.
  • Proficiency in PCB design, hardware design, and firmware development.
  • Experience designing products with embedded electronics.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to innovate.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
