Job Summary:

The Senior Compliance and Quality Assurance Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of service delivery in terms of care, support, and health & safety within the homes our children reside in, meeting Ofsted's minimum quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the regulation of homes/providers to ensure compliance with local and national standards and legislation.
  • Develop and implement regulatory procedures and frameworks to monitor provider performance and adherence to set guidelines.
  • Take the lead in quality assuring all homes/providers by developing and maintaining a rigorous quality assurance system and reviewing this in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all homes/providers adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Play a pivotal role in ensuring placement stability for children living in our care.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of an undergraduate degree related to the field is essential.
  • Extensive experience in a regulatory or quality assurance role within children's services is essential.
  • Experience of the framework within which social care operates, inclusive of legislation and national guidance and procedures specific to this post, is essential.
  • Experience of National minimum standards for Children's Social Care, Knowledge and Skills requirements, and their implications for practice is essential.

Working Arrangements:

  • Working hours: 35 hours per week.
  • DBS Enhanced check is required for this role.
